This is one of the sweets which I am trying for the second time. It's really simple and tasty sweet for any occasion. I love it's flavor. This is so simple and can be made with the ingredients that are available in your pantry. This is a healthy sweet that you can make for Diwali.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Moong Dal (or 1 cup Moong Dal flour)
1/4 cup Ghee
1/2 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
6-8 Cashew Nuts

Method:

Dry roast 1/2 cup moong dal in a medium flame until it turns golden brown color. Roast the moong dal continuously with laddle for even roasting. Let it cool down completely and then grind it into a fine powder.

Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan or vessel. Add the moong dal flour to it and fry on low flame until its light golden in color and you can also feel the aroma.

Keep stirring continuously. Once it starts leaving the sides of the pan turn off the heat and set aside. Let it cool down a little bit.

Then add the sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well and add the fried cashew nuts to it. Transfer it into a flat plate or any dish.

Let it cool down for 20-30 minutes.
Then apply ghee to your palms and make them into medium sized balls.
