These super cute peeps brownies are so easy to make for Easter Brunch. These Peeps are gluten free.
Ingredients:
For Brownie:
2-1/3 cups All Purpose Flour
2 cups Sugar
1 tin Condensed Milk
1 cup Chocolate Chips
10 tbsp Cocoa Powder
2-1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp Salt
For Green Grass:
1/4 cup Coconut Flakes
2-3 drops Green Food Coloring
For Brownie Decoration :
5 Peeps
6-7 Jelly Eggs
1/4 cup Chocolate chips
1/4 cup Chocolate Frosting (If not use chocolate sauce or 1/4 cup chocolate chips and melt it.)
Method:
For Brownie:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
- Combine the flour, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, salt and mix well.
- Now pour the condensed milk in the flour mixture and whisk it until everything is combined well.
- Now add the vanilla extract and whisk again.
- Pour this mixture in a round and greased baking pan.
- Put it in the preheated oven and bake it for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, allow them to cool down to room temperature.
For Green Grass:
- Take 1/4 cup coconut flakes in a bowl.
- Add 2-3 drops of green food coloring.
- Mix well until combined.
For Brownie Decoration:
- Once the brownie cools down, place it on a flat surface or on cake stand.
- Pour the chocolate frosting in the middle of the brownie.
- Add chocolate chips on the chocolate frosting.
- Now place the peeps around the brownie,
- Fill in the green colored coconut flakes in between the peeps.
- Place the jelly bean eggs in front of each peep.
- At last place a jelly bean egg in the center of the brownie.
