No Cook Mango Kulfi Recipe

Kulfi is a popular frozen dairy dessert from Indian Subcontinent. It is a traditional ice cream in India. Kulfi has similarities to ice cream in appearance and taste; however it's denser and creamier. It comes in various flavors. The more traditional once are malai, rose, mango, cardamom, saffron and pistachio. Due to its density, kulfi takes a longer time to melt than western ice cream.

Today I am sharing an easy Kulfi recipe. This no cook mango kulfi recipe is quick to whip up and then freeze. This recipe is made with whole milk cream and condensed milk.

Ingredients:

Preparing Time: 15 minutes | Serves: 5-6

1 cup Mango Pulp 
1-1/2 cups Whole Milk
3/4 cup Condensed Milk 
1/2 cup Cream 
1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
A pinch of Saffron (optional)



Method:



  • Blend everything except the cardamom powder and saffron until smooth.
  • Now add the cardamom powder, saffron and blend until its incorporated well.
  • Pour the kulfi mixture in the molds or in a small cups.
  • Cover it with a aluminum foil or lid.
  • Freeze it at least for 5-6 hours, until set.
  • Once done, place the kulfi moulds under the running water for few seconds or rub the moulds in between the palms.
  • Now with a butter knife, gently remove the kulfi.
  • Serve it with chopped mangoes.
