Vegetable Cutlets

Vegetable Cutlets is a snack made with boiled vegetables. It's an easy snack recipe, just steam the veggies, add some masalas and fry the patties. The cutlets can be served either with ketchup or green chutney.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Potatoes (chopped)
1/2 cup Carrots (chopped)
1/3 cup Green Peas (chopped)
1/2 tsp Ginger Paste
1/2 tsp Green Chili Paste 
1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala 
2-3 tbsp Corn Flour 
3 tbsp Water
1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
2-3 tbsp Oil (for shallow fry)
Salt to taste 




Method:



  • Boil the vegetables and set aside.
  • Once they are warm, mash the vegetables.
  • Add ginger green chili paste, red chili powder, garam masala powder, bread crumbs and salt to taste.
  • Mix well and set aside.
  • In another bowl add the corn flour and water.




  • Mix well until it combines without any lumps.
  • Now shape the cutlet mixture into flat patties.
  • Dip the patties in the corn flour mixture. (make sure the corn flour gets coated all over the patties)
  • Then coat them with bread crumbs evenly all over the patties and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Place the patties in the pan.
  • Shallow fry until one side is golden and then flip it and fry the other side. 
  • Drain the excess oil by placing the cutlets on the paper towels.
  • Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.
